Daily Samvad (dailysamvad.com) is owned and operated by MMM Media House Pvt Ltd., Jalandhar, Punjab, India. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This page outlines our policy regarding copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
1. Our Copyright
All content published on Daily Samvad — including but not limited to news articles, photographs, videos, infographics, logos, trademarks, and website design — is the intellectual property of MMM Media House Pvt Ltd. and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international copyright laws.

5. Our Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 24-48 hours
- Review the claim to verify that it meets all DMCA requirements
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material within 48-72 hours if the claim is valid
- Notify the content uploader/author (if applicable) about the takedown
- Provide the alleged infringer an opportunity to submit a counter-notification
We reserve the right to reject incomplete, fraudulent, or abusive takedown requests.
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your full name, email, phone number, and mailing address
- Identification of the removed material and its original location (URL)
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jalandhar, Punjab, India
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the original complainant files a court order.
7. Repeat Infringers
Daily Samvad has a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If any contributor or user is found to repeatedly infringe on others’ copyrights, their access to our platform will be permanently revoked.
8. Images and Media Credits
- We use images from news agencies (PTI, ANI, IANS), official sources, and properly licensed stock photo services
- Images sourced from social media or public domain are used with appropriate credit
- Representative/symbolic images are marked as “File Photo” or “Symbolic Image” where applicable
- If you are the copyright owner of any image used on our website and wish to have it removed or properly credited, please contact us immediately — we will take action within 48 hours
